Apparently, there is a new AI-powered chatbot app, called the AngryGF, making waves on social media, that features a girlfriend who is angry at the user.

According to the Hindustan Times, this chatbot aims to teach people how to handle conflicts with their female partner.

The app's co-founder Emilia Aviles told Dazed that the app is "designed to help users handle relationship conflicts with their partners, especially girlfriends or wives."

The players are presented with various scenarios with a "forgiveness level" attached to them, according to Dazed.

The aim is to get your angry female partner to calm down and reach a forgiveness level of 100. If the level drops to 0, then it's game over.

"Different attempts and words will affect the AI partner’s mood; appropriate words can improve her mood and increase the forgiveness level, while inappropriate words can worsen her mood and decrease the forgiveness level," Aviles said.

"Through this gamified approach, AngryGF empowers users to learn and refine essential relationship skills in a dynamic and engaging manner," Aviles added.

People soon took to social media to express their surprise over the app.

"There is an AngryGF AI app (angry girlfriend)! This is a surprise to me. Does this make you good at relationships with women?" one wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“This is something that seems likely to yield the opposite of the intended result,” posted another.
