Motorway police recovers stolen car

PESHAWAR: Motorway police Thursday recovered a stolen car and arrested the accused driver on M-1 near Burhan.

The police spokesman told that the officials of motorway police intercepted 86-model corolla car bearing Mardan registration No-3606 near Burhan interchange M-1.

The officials checked the documents of the car and came to know that it was a stolen car.

The motorway police immediately arrested the driver of car Rizwan Ahmed son of Riaz Mughal resident of Shikrial Rawalpindi.

The accused drive revealed during initial investigation that a person Farhan gave him Rs. 20,000 to take the car to Swabi.

The Motorway police handed over the accused and car to respective police station for further investigation and legal action. (APP)
