PIA offers 20% discount for students

In its bid to facilitate students travelling via air, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 20% for those flying to China from Pakistan.
The baggage allowance has also been increased by up to 60 kilograms, an official of the national flag carrier told APP.
The airline is currently operating one weekly flight from China to Pakistan every Sunday on the on Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route.
Even those students who are planning to come to Pakistan for their summer vacations or those travelling back home after completing their educational degrees can also avail the discount.
Ali Imran, a Pakistani researcher told APP that a large number of Pakistani students are currently studying in different cities across China.
PIA's discount will be a great facility for them to enjoy the discount and the increase in the baggage allowance.
Last month, the airline had reduced one-way fare for Umrah pilgrims as well as residents and work visa holders of Saudi Arabia by 20% and 30%, respectively.
The discount for those visiting the Kingdom for Umrah was applicable from April 7 to 11 with passengers travelling from Pakistan to Jeddah and Madinah to benefit from the facility.
Meanwhile, those heading to Dammam and Riyadh could also avail the reduction.
