FIR registered against MNA Tariq Anees

ISLAMABAD: Secretariat police station Islamabad has registered a case against Member of National Assembly Tariq Anees for allegedly torturing a government official, police daily crime report said.

According to details mentioned in this report, Muhammad Sarwar
Awan lodged the complaint with Secretariat police station that he
was present at Ministry of Housing and Works in `B Block Secretariat' when MNA Tariq Anees along with his body guard TahirHameed came and tortured him.

After medical report, First Information report has been
registered against these two persons under section 337 A (1), 337 F
(1) (5), 342, 353, 186, 34 PPC. Further investigation is underway
into matter, police source said.
