ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Friday apprehended 10 culprits, recovered ammunition, 739 bottles of wine, three pistols and one stolen motorcycle from their possession, startling revelations are expected.
On the directives of Inspector General Police Bani Amin Khan SSP Islamabad has issued directives to all SHOs to launch crack down against the bootlegger, drug pushers and also register cases against the culprits.
SSP investigation Mustansar Feroz had constituted various teams headed by incharge CIA DSP Zubair Ahmed Sheikh with the mandate to exterminate the increasing crimes. Other members of the team are Muhammad Ali and Asghar Ali Bhatti.
The team was informed that wine is being prepared and sold in Prince Road Street Number 1 of Bhara Kaho. Police raided and arrested Niamat Masih son of Enayat Masigh, a resident of district Mianwali and recovered 700 bottles and material used in preparation of wine from his possession.
Similarly the police team apprehended a gang of dacoits from the area of Aabpara Police Station and recovered four pistols of 30 bore from Shah Wali, Misal Khan, Mir Wali and Noorullah.
Rajab Ali Shah, a Sub Inspector of CIA Police has also recovered 9 bottles of wine from the possession of Bashir Javed. A motorcycle has been recovered from the possession of Hamid, Javed Iqbal and Babir Hussain.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Yamin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yasin Farooq has lauded the performance of CIA SHOs and patrolling officers have been directed to further tighten the security.
