A claim that has accumulated thousands of interactions on Facebook and X (Twitter) alleges that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) recently ruled for the live broadcast of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan’s speeches on television channels.

The claim is baseless.

Asif Iqbal, the public relations officer of the high court debunked the online claims. He confirmed to Geo Fact Check that upon checking with the relevant judicial branch, no such written order regarding Khan’s speeches has been received from any of the eight courtrooms.
