Fourth Karachi Literature Festival from Feb 15-17

KARACHI: The Fourth Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) would be held in the metropolis from February 15 to 17 at a hotel here.

The event would be held under the auspices of the Oxford University Press (OUP), Pakistan.

According to organizers, the KLF is the first event of its kind in Pakistan which received great attention and critical acclaim internationally, as well as at home, when it was first held in March
2010.

The third KLF took place in February 2012 and like the first and second, attracted a great deal of attention thanks to the excellent participation by Pakistani authors and authors of other nationalities, many writing in English (fiction and non-fiction), but also by writers
and poets writing in Urdu, Sindhi, and Punjabi.

The fourth Karachi Literature Festival will be held on February 15, 16, and 17, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.

Celebrated novelist Nadeem Aslam and poet Gulzar will be the keynote speakers at the Festival. (APP)
