Electrical control room gutted

LAHORE: Articles worth thousands of rupees were burnt to ashes when fire erupted in an electrical control room situated in third floor of Al-Falah Building on Mall Road here on Sunday.

On information, Rescue Fire Service reached the spot and controlled the fire after hectic efforts. However, no loss of life was reported. Cause behind the fire was stated to be short circuiting.

Meanwhile, edible things, electrical items worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when fire broke out in a general store at Sabza Zar here on the same day. Fire brigade controlled the fire after hectic efforts.
