MQM denies rift between party leadership, Sindh governor

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has denied the reports regarding rifts between the party leadership and the Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad Khan, terming it 'baseless'.

According to the statement issued here, MQM's coordination committee said that the reports regarding differences between the party leadership and the governor have nothing to do with the reality.

The statement said that the party leadership has full confidence in the Governor.

It further said that certain forces were trying to create chaos in the rows of MQM, urging the party workers to maintain unity among themselves and avoid paying heed to 'false reports'.
