PESHAWAR: The Met Office here on Friday predicted dry weather for Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) during next 24 hours.
According to Met Office here, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, which means the weather is expected to remain dry in most parts of the country including KP and Fata during next 24 and 48 hours.
However, mostly partly cloudy conditions expected with chances of rain at one or two places of Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
In last 24 hours, rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places of Punjab, Quetta, D.I Khan, Kohat divisions and Kashmir. Maximum rain was received by R.Y Khan 41mm followed by Khanpur 38, Barkhan 21, Garidupatta 12, Bhakkar & Kakul 6, Bahawalpur 5, Chakwal & Rawalakot 4, Parachinar 3, T.T Singh, Kohat, Kotli, Noorpur Thal, Lahore, Quetta & D.I Khan 02 mm.
Mirpurkhas with 36 C, Chhor and Badin 32 C remained hottest places of the country while pollen count today remained 6,713 per cubic meter.
