KP Governor appreciates courage, spirit of trader's community

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Shaukatullah has said that business and trade oriented activities were indispensable for economic development and to ensure a prosperous future of people.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of prominent traders representing Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Governor House here Sunday.

The Governor further observed that the exemplary level of spirit and courage demonstrated by the business community of the province in facing difficulties in wake of extremism and terrorism is indeed well acknowledged and it would be his utmost effort to remain in contact with them for addressing their problems.

He said that business community of the provincial metropolis should keep vigil eyes on their surroundings and maintain complete liaison with law enforcement agencies for ensuring maintenance of law and order. He also assured to take necessary steps for materialization of their practicable proposals. (APP)
