LONDON: England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field in the second one-day international at Lord´s on Saturday.
Morgan, after rain delayed the scheduled start by an hour, was looking to his attack to take advantage of the still overcast conditions at Lord´s, where he plays county cricket for Middlesex.
England made one change recalling Yorkshire fast bowler Liam Plunkett in place of Mark Wood, who was not at his best during Australia´s 59-run win in the first of a five-match series in Southampton on Thursday.
Australia, the 50-over World Cup champions, were unchanged.
The rain meant Saturday´s match had been reduced to a 49 overs per side contest.
