Mujahid Squad arrest 156 accused in last month

LAHORE: Mujahid Squad arrested 156 accused and registered 78 cases against them during a crackdown against proclaimed offenders, robbers and criminals in last month.

A spokesman of the force said Sunday that in a drive against illegal weapons holders, the force recovered five rifles, 36 pistols and hundreds of rounds.

Mujahid Squad also recovered narcotics worth hundreds of rupees and 193 bottle liquor and Rs 10,000 stake money from gamblers.

SP Mujahid Squad Romail Akram directed officials to perform their duties with honesty, dedication and take immediate action on receiving 15 calls.
