Appolo beat Crown in Nazeer Senior cricket tourney

LAHORE: Appolo Sports defeated Crown Cricket Club by four wickets in the second Nazeer Senior Memorial Cricket Tournament here at the Railway Allama Iqbal Institute ground on Monday.

Chasing 259, Appolo Sports reached the winning target for the loss of six wickets with fine batting performances by Tanveer Jabbar (70), Rashid Butt (65 not out) and Salman Ali (51).

Earlier, Crown Club were all out for 258 with Faisal Mahmood (48), Noor-ul-Hassan (37) and Muhammad Zahid (37) prominent scorers.

Sabir Shah bowling well to capture five wickets for 59.

Chief Guest Haji Mian Muhammad Ilyas Mughal gave away the man of the match award to Sabir Shah at the end of the match.
