Ten outlaws, two rash drivers arrested
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested ten outlaws including two speedsters from various areas of the city and recovered 119 wine bottles, snatched mobile phones and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.

According to details, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Abdul Ghafoor from CIA police arrested two accused Imran Nazir and Fayyaz Ghouri for their alleged involvement in robberies and recovered snatched cell phone and two pistols from their possession.


ASI Safdar Hussain from Kohsar police station arrested Abdul Salam and recovered 108 wine bottles from him while ASI Naveed Tahir apprehended a thief.


ASI Ghulam Aabbas from Golra police station arrested Iftekhar Ahmed and recovered 30 bore pistol from him, while ASI Saleem Raza from Ramna police station arrested Yaqoob Shoukat for having two 30-bore pistols.


Sub-Inspector Muhammad Akram from Industrial Area police station nabbed Shehzad involved in decanting gas in cylinders illegally.

ASI Muhammad Ishaq from Sabzi Mandi police Station arrested Ayaz and Waleed involved in rash driving.

ASI Talib Hussain and ASI Arif Hussain from Nilor police station arrested Zohaib Akhtar and Sohail besides recovering 11 wine bottles and one 30 bore pistol from them.

ASI Zulfqar Ali from Shehzad Town police arrested Azhar Mehmood and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
