Ali Wong's split speculations come to light

Ali Wong did win at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards but did not walk the red carpet nor thank her boyfriend, Bill Hader during her acceptance speech.

As rumors of a split starting swirling around social media, a representative for Hader informed PEOPLE magazine that the 46-year-old actor and the 42-year-old comedian are not separated despite many people’s assumptions.

“Bill was not able to attend the Globes due to a pre-existing eye condition that flared up and he was advised by his doctor to stay home and rest,” the rep explained, adding, “He and Ali are still together.”

The award in question that Wong won, by the grace of her Netflix special, Single Lady, was for best performance in stand-up comedy on television, beating out contenders Jamie Foxx, Nikki Glaser, Seth Meyers, Adam Sandler and Ramy Youssef.

In her acceptance speech the popular comedian stated, “I come from San Francisco, and that's where I started doing stand-up.”

“And I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all the stage time that I got there and all the practice I got to become a stand-up comedian," she added.

Ali Wong then proceeded to thank Molly Schminke from the SF Punchline Comedy Club as well as her best friend Mia, "Mia, thank you so much for all of your love and support throughout the years. And this means a lot. Thank you so much!"
