Prince Harry blasted for distorting Kate Middleton's image for the public to 'hurt'

Kate Middleton and Prince Harry’s bond was always one that was lauded on British media, so much so that the Duke himself once admitted that his sister-in-law was like “the sister I've never had and always wanted.”

However, since his marriage things have taken a turn for the worst, with many a report speculating the culprit behind their fall out.

For those unversed, the most damaging revelations have come via Prince Harry’s own memoir Spare in which he stated that Kate was “on edge” when he married Meghan because she knew she was “going to be compared to, and forced to compete with, Meg.”

His admissions also laid bare the truth behind the bridesmaid dress row and revealed that it was Meghan who ended up “sobbing on the floor” instead of Kate as previously summarized.

According to The Mirror US, this prompted an insider to accuse the Duke of painting Kate as “rigid and overly formal, contrasting Meghan's laid-back Californian approach.”

Even experts echoed similar sentiments to the insider and royal photographer Arthur Edwards was one of them.

Per the same outlet he said, “Harry has publicly targeted his sister-in-law in a way that's not just damaging to her but to the entire family dynamic.”

Royal expert Ingrid Seward also chimed in in agreement and noted how, “Harry's decision to drag Kate into this narrative was both unnecessary and hurtful.”

Because “She's always been the epitome of grace under pressure, and this incident paints a distorted picture of who she really is.”
