Sofia Vergara gets major label after working on 'Modern Family'

Sofia Vergara, renowned for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the hit comedy Modern Family, has been accused of exhibiting diva behavior behind the scenes of the long-running series.

Kelly Mantle, who guest-starred as a drag queen in the 2019 Halloween-themed episode The Last Halloween, shared her experience while appearing on the podcast The Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova.

According to Daily Mail, Mantle described Vergara as the "rudest celebrity" she had encountered, citing incidents involving the star’s treatment of her staff and a disagreement over wig styling on set.

In regard to this, Mantle further revealed, "In the episode, she was wearing a wig, and they wanted to secure it with bobby pins, but she refused. During a scene where I placed a crown on her head, she got upset, saying, ‘Watch out for the wig!’ I jokingly replied, ‘Well, girl, you should’ve used those bobby pins.’”

As per the publication, Mantle suggested it might have been an off day for the actress as she added, “She’s hilarious, beautiful, and talented. I’m sure it was just a bad day.”

Moreover, Vergara, who starred in Modern Family from 2009 to 2020, has not responded to the allegations.

Additionally, this news came as Vergara, who is reportedly dating Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton was spotted sharing a cozy lunch with him in New York City earlier this week.

Furthermore, the duo, seen dining with friends at a West Village eatery, sparked dating rumors as they appeared engrossed in conversation, as per the outlet.
