Chrissy Teigen has suggested some mindful ways to save the world from social media
Taking to her official Instagram Stories, the 39-year-old model shared a cool idea for limiting the usage of social media in our routine life.
“I personally think that one day there will be the most incredible rule,” the mom of four began to say in the clip.
The cookbook author went on to say, "I think the government, or some kind of ethics committee — somebody — should shut off social media between 6 p.m and 6 a.m. Leave it all up. Everyone gets to do anything they want, but only between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Shut it off. Done."
Chrissy emphasized how important it is to limit the usage of online networking platforms and confessed that it is "hard" however if people will it is "doable".
"Guys, life was great. Life was awesome before this,” she said, adding, "I know it’s hard to see it now. But it’s doable. It’s very doable. This doesn’t have to be our lives. And I say this for myself as well because — obviously — I’m on here [social media] right now doing this. But it doesn’t have to define us or be our whole lives,” she concluded.
The reaction came after the recent short-time ban on the video-making app, TikTok, in the US occurred on January 18 which was supposed to be an official government ban on the Chinese-owned app.
However, after going "dark” for several hours the app was restored on Sunday, January 19.
