Zoe Saldana, an American actress, spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day providing aid to victims of the Eaton Fire in California.
Sharing a video of her efforts to Instagram, she encouraged her fans to help where they can, “We’re here at the Pasadena Job Center — I’m here with the team organizers. We are in dire need of a lot of items that are running out. The lines here of cars and people that are coming is incredible.”
The actress added, “The support is incredible, but we need more. So if you guys can help, we are here right now. Come you guys.”
Donning a mask as she worked alongside the volunteers from the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON), she revealed that they would specifically appreciate receiving baby formula, canned food, fresh produce as well as water.
Fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy star took to the comments section to show their appreciation, as one user wrote, “Love watching the community build each other up,” as another added, “I would love to be there helping with you guys.”
Saldana isn’t the only star who has chosen to help out during the tragic fires, as Jennifer Garner is volunteering with the World Central Kitchen, while Demi Lovato, Jessica Alba and others are helping with packing hygiene kits through Baby2Baby.
