Ryan Reynolds is going unfiltered on Hugh Jackman's From New York, with Love concert series after attending the opening night.
Reynolds, 48, made a surprise appearance at his Deadpool & Wolverine costar's NYC concert series on Saturday and saw Jackman, 56, perform several songs from past projects like Les Misérables and The Greatest Showman.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Reynolds got candid about his best friend's "immersive" stage presence.
"This fella puts on a show. I had no idea he could sing and dance. I knew he could stab and grunt," Reynolds wrote in a first post, poking fun at Jackman's starring role as Wolverine in various Marvel projects.
"The show is an immersive retrospective and jamboree of feeling, giggles, and joy," Reynolds continued.
The actor also added how Jackman's tribute during the show to Gus Worland and his Gotcha4Life Foundation touched hearts.
"Not one dry eye in the house."
Reynolds proceeded with a 4.9-star rating for the show, which he attended with Shawn Levy.
"I give it [the show] 4.9 stars out of 5 because I was told there'd be a car chase," Reynolds concluded his note on a photo of himself with the actor-filmmaker taken during the show.
