FIR of suicide attack at IGP Balochistan house registered

QUETTA: Civil Lines Police have registered FIR of suicide attack at the official residence of Inspector General Police (IGP) Balochistan Mushtaq Sukhira.

Police told APP on Tuesday that on behalf of plaintiff Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Ramazan who was also injured in the suicide truck blast, FIR was registered against unknown accused under Section 324, 202 and 427 of Anti-Terrorist Act.

ASI Muhammad Ramazan was present at the picket when the suicide bomber rammed its truck loaded with 2000 kg explosives against the boulders kept outside the house of IGP Balochistan and exploded it.

Eight people were killed and 97 others injured in the suicide explosion. The injured were being provided medical treatment at Combined Military Hospital and Civil Hospital.

The police teams have been continuing efforts to trace the arrest the suspects.
