Peshawar Police seize 1200 KG hashish

PESHAWAR: The City police have foiled a smuggling bid of narcotics by seizing 1200 kilogram hashish of fine quality and arrested two alleged smugglers on the spot.

According to Police here, an oil container on mere suspicion was intercepted at Peshtakara chowk on Ring Road and was searched that led to recovery of 1200 kilogram hashish of fine quality. Accused Wali Khan, resident of Sirband and driver Yasin Khan resident of Shabqadar were arrested.

Police said the narcotics were being smuggled from Khyber Agency to Punjab province. Police started investigation and a case was registered under anti narcotics laws.
