LAHORE: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said that drone strikes were not taking place in his province and had there been Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government in centre, US would have not dared to launch these attacks.
Talking to media persons along with senior minister Sirajul Haq, the newly elected chief minister said on Saturday that he had plans to further strengthen police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Speaking on the occasion, Sirajul Haq said that the federal government and provinces should not indulge in confrontation.
He said that Nawaz Sharif had accepted PTI’s mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkwa. When asked to comment on Kalabagh dam, he referred to resolutions passed by KPK and Sindh assemblies in this regard.
