Three persons gunned down at Karachi's Lasbela Chowk

KARACHI: Three persons including two political activists were gunned down by unidentified assailants at Nishtar Road near Lasbela Chowk in Karachi on Saturday afternoon.

Four unidentified armed men, riding on two motorcycles, opened fires at Lasbela Chowk, injuring three people. The injured were being rushed to hospital however they succumbed to their wounds in ambulance.

Awami National Party (ANP) spokesman claimed that among the dead two were their party office-bearers.

Panic gripped the area after the incident. Shops were closed and vehicular traffic was suspended. (PPI)
