SWAT: A Special Anti-Terrorism Court here Saturday awarded seven years imprisonment to, Khurshid Ahmad a militant belonging to banned outfit, for his involvement in blast targeting a police van at Nangolai.
According to details, an FIR was lodged against the accused in Police Station Kabal for his complicity in a blast that targeted a police van, on December 27, 2007. The cases were registered under the sections of attempt to murder, attack on officials and terrorism.
After hearing the case, Justice Muhammad Asif Khan of Anti-terrorism Court No. 2 sentenced Khurshid Ahmad of Nangolai for seven years. (APP)
