Kate Middleton, Prince William drops sweet photo of Charlotte to mark her birthday

Prince William and Kate Middleton marked Princess Charlotte’s 10th birthday by sharing a new photo of her on their official social media account.

In the photo, Charlotte is seen outdoors, smiling brightly at the camera with a backpack on, suggesting she may be on a hiking trip.

“Happy 10th Birthday Princess Charlotte!” the couple captioned the photo, revealing the sweet moment was captured by the Princess of Wales.

The candid photo has quickly warmed hearts online, with many commenters pointing out her striking resemblance to her father, Prince William.

Royal fans rushed to the comments section to draw comparisons with William, while other showered love on the little Princess on her big day.

“So sweet! Happy Birthday, Princess Charlotte,” one fan wrote. “You’re a ray of sunshine.”

According to The Express, in a conversation with Mary Berry in 2019, Kate said, "I love making the cake. It's become a bit of a tradition that I stay up 'til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing, and I make far too much. But I love it."
