Muhammad Khan Achakzai sworn in as Balochistan Governor

QUETTA: Muhammad Khan Achakzai has taken oath as Balochistan Governor during a ceremony held at the Governor’s House.

Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Esa administered oath to Achakzai in the ceremony attended by politicians, bureaucrats,lawyers and others.

He is the elder brother of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai.

He was appointed as governor after the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, PKMAP and the National Party evolved consensus on a power sharing formula following the general election on May 11.
