Katy Perry has a hilarious response to her viral AI photos at Met Gala 2025.
For the second year in a row, AI-generated pictures of the 40-year-old pop star, who has not attended this year's Met Gala, again went viral.
The Woman’s World singer took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to confirm that the pictures circulating on the internet are fake.
“Couldn’t make it to the MET,” Katy wrote in the caption along with the picture created with artificial intelligence and a few funny posts made by her fans.
“I’m on The Lifetimes Tour (see you in Houston tomorrow IRL),” she announced.
Perry shared that her mom, Mary Perry, who fell for the AI-generated photos last year, is safe this year from the fake pictures.
“P.s. this year I was actually with my mom so she’s safe from the bots but I’m praying for the rest of y’all," Perry wrote in the follow-up caption.
Among the fans' reactions to the A.I. images, Perry shared in the carousel, one post read, "Whoever does Katy Perry‘s AI met gala fits eats every time.”
