Kelly Clarkson is hopeful about finding love again but her main focus is her children.

In a recent appearance on Today with Jenna and Friends, the 43-year-old singer talked about if she is open to falling in love again.

Sharing her thoughts, Clarkson noted that she is hopeful about finding romance, but not actively looking for the one.

The mom of two mentioned that she is, mostly busy with her kid and joked that her children's schedule feels "like busier than" hers.

"I’m running from my show to baseball practice and I’m trying to be just there," she told the host Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Matt Rogers. "It’s a lot. My mom will tell me, ‘Look, I was a single mom. I didn’t get to make everything. They’re gonna be fine. You turned out fine.’ "

The Stronger crooner went on to say, "I am just trying to be there as much for them [as possible] and we’re a cute little unit. I am trying to adult more. So for Mother’s Day weekend, I do have a couple of shows, but my kids aren’t coming.”

"So I do get to be an adult with my band having drinks and having adult time," she added.

For those unversed, Clarkson shares 10-year-old daughter River Rose and nine-year-old son Remy with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

It is pertinent to mention that Clarkson parted ways with Blackstock nearly after seven years of marriage in 2020, and finalized their divorce in 2022.
