Kelly Clarkson is the latest major artist grappling with slow ticket sales, as approximately 70% of seats remain unsold for the opening night of her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, according to Ticketmaster data as of Wednesday night.

The 43-year-old singer and talk show host is scheduled to kick off her 18-date “Studio Sessions” residency on July 4, but current figures suggest that demand has been underwhelming, as per Daily Mail

The issue isn’t isolated to opening night, subsequent shows through November 15 show similar or worse availability.

Unlike Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, where seats have been discounted to as low as $35, Clarkson’s cheapest tickets, located in the back corners of the venue, start at $85 after fees, as per the outlet.

Premium seats range from $230 to over $1,000, with VIP packages still widely available for opening night.

Despite Clarkson's efforts to distinguish her residency by featuring all-live arrangements with no backing tracks, fans appear hesitant.

As per the publication, this trend echoes broader challenges across the live music industry, as even superstar acts like Beyoncé have faced difficulty moving tickets in a post-pandemic economy marked by high prices and shifting entertainment habits.

Clarkson, who recently debuted a new single Where Have You Been, has emphasized the organic sound of her upcoming shows.
