Kanye West sparks outrage with 'free Diddy' plea

Kanye West is facing criticism once again for showing his support for Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

For those unversed, Diddy is currently behind bars on several serious allegations, including sex trafficking and racketeering. 

On May 8, Diddy's X handle shared a link to a meme coin with the caption, "WE LOVE YOU POPS!"

Kanye then reposted the comment and demanded the release of Diddy from prison.

Reposting the post, he added a black heart emoji and the hashtag, 'FREEDIDDY'.

However, social media users are unhappy with the Gold Digger rapper's this stance.

"This is not my Kanye," one of the internet users penned in the comment section of the post.

"Would you leave diddy alone with your daughter? asked a second one.

"I'm actually shocked at how much I don’t like your music anymore because of how absolutely awful you are," wrote a third one.

Kanye came out to support Diddy for the first time in February and said he wants to see the rapper “out of jail.”

“FREE PUFF,” he penned on X in capital letters.
