Jamie Lee Curtis has opened about a regret that she has over a decision from her 20s.

During an interview with 60 Minutes, the Hollywood actress candidly talked about a 'regretful decision' that she made after filming Perfect.

In the 1985 romantic movie a news reporter Adam, played by John Travolta, falls in love with an aerobic trainer Jessie, portrayed by Curtis, while doing the story on a health club topic.

Recalling when a cinematographer postponed the shooting because her eyes were baggy, she said, “I was 25? So, for him to say that was very embarrassing. So as soon as the movie finished, I ended up having some plastic surgery."

“That's just not what you wanna do when you're 25 or 26. And I regretted it immediately and have kind of sort of regretted it since ...,” the Halloween Ends actress added.

Moreover, she admitted that the cosmetic surgery led her to take painkillers which developed the addiction.

Before concluding, the 66-year-old actress shared, “I've become a really public advocate to say to women: 'You're gorgeous and you're perfect the way you are.' So oh, yeah I ... it was not a good thing for me to do.”

For those unversed, Jamie Lee Curtis was addicted for over a decade before she got sober in 1999.
