Tom Hardy recently got candid about how his body feels now after years of doing action movies and getting injured.

While giving an interview to Esquire U.K., the 47-year-old Hollywood actor said that his body has gone beyond the point of healing after performing in action movies swamped with fighting scenes and getting beaten up both on the sets and in martial arts tournaments in real life.

Articulating his thoughts, Hardy quipped, “I’ve had two knee surgeries now, my disc’s herniated in my back, I’ve got sciatica as well.”

He added, “And I have that… is it plantar fasciitis? Where did that come from? And why? Why?! And I pulled my tendon in my hip as well. It’s like, it’s all falling to bits now, and it’s not going to get better.”

For the unversed, Hardy is currently working with Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren in the Paramount+ crime series MobLand.

While his latest action movie, titled Havoc, which was directed by Gareth Evans, releases on Netflix on April 25, 2025.
