Josh Duhamel just got honest about parenting in Hollywood and what is the worst part about being an actor as a father of 2.

While catching up with Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on Tuesday, May 13, the 52-year-old American actor talked about life as a father of two children.

Duhamel, who is the father of two sons, said, "I think that's the worst part about this job is that you're gone a lot. I miss a lot of things. With Axl, I was in London. I just directed a movie called Preschool, ... and I was gone for, like, three months. He came for nine days of it, but I missed all of his soccer."

The Transformers star added, "I didn't see a single basketball game of this last season, and that kind of stuff just kills me because, you know, you don't get that time back. I'm still present, but not being there for that stuff kills me."

For the unversed, Duhamel shares his older son, Axl, with his ex-wife, Fergie, in August 2013, with whom he tied the knot in January 2009 but annulled their wedding in November 2019.

He welcomed his second son, Shephard, in January 2024 with his wife, Audra Mari, whom he married in September 2022.
