James Gunn has been working to bring a new Superman after Zack Snyder's attempt.

Now, the latest trailer of the upcoming DC film shows the superhero taking a flight, absorbing punches, and saving humanity in the new footage.

In the clip, David Corenswet as Superman depicts the difficulty of balancing his power and the politics of the Earth.

“He’s not a man,” Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor, says in the trailer. “He’s an ‘it’ that’s somehow become the focal point of the entire world’s conversation.”

The official trailer and the previous teaser appear to convey a message that the new Superman is not invincible and also focus on his vulnerable side.

The maker behind the film, James, previously teased that he would release the full trailer in the coming days. “I’ve been waiting too long to share this with you all!”

Apart from David and Nicholas, the cast includes Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Edi Gathegi, Terence Rosemore, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, and María Gabriela de Faría.

Superman will be in international theatres on July 9 and US cinemas on July 11.
