Shia LaBeouf breaks silence on rumored beef with Timothee Chalamet

Shia LaBeouf cleared the air about his speculated beef with Timothee Chalamet.

The reports of the alleged feud between LaBeouf and the Dune star circulated after LaBeouf commented on Chalamet's SAG Awards acceptance speech, in which he shared his desire for greatness.

Taking to his X account on May 12 the Honey Boy star set the record straight.

“If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken, twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools," LeBeouf began his post by quoting Rudyard Kipling's 19th-century poem If, adding, “Timothée Chalamet is doing better work than anyone alive – we been good.”

LaBeouf then shared a screenshot of his email exchange which apparently took place in 2023 between the 38-year-old and Chalamet, to ensure there was no bad blood between them.

A message supposedly from Chlamet read, “Absolutely blown away by your work the other night. Totally electric, totally present at every turn, king of your kingdom even if that kingdom is a miserable 4×4 prison cell. What a fantastic play. I hope you guys take it to New York. And I hope this is the beginning of your work on stage and not an anomaly !! Timothée.”

“Thank you doggy / Every blessing to you / Fun watching you evolve / Take ownership / Bang bang," Shia purportedly responded.
