Jennifer Lopez shares health update after suffering painful facial injury

Jennifer Lopez revealed that she went to a plastic surgeon after suffering facial injuries that required stitches.

On May 11, the singer and actress took to her Instagram handle to reveal that she suffered a blow to the face while rehearsing for the forthcoming American Music Awards.

J.Lo posted a series of images on a photo-sharing app, one showing her holding an ice pack up to her eye and another showing a nasty gash on the bridge of her nose.

“So, this happened during the AMA rehearsals,” she wrote.

The Atlas actress explained her recovery in a third Story while posing next to cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond.

“Thank you for stitching me up Dr. Diamond. A week later and a whole lotta ice, I’m good as new,” Ben Affleck's ex penned.

For those unversed, Jennifer is currently busy in preparation to host the 2025 American Music Awards for the second time on May 26.

She made her debut hosting the awards show in 2015.
