Betheny Frankel shares her two cents on retirement, brand building

Betheny Frankel made a hilarious comment about her career and shared her approach on effective personal brand building.

In a new chat with ADWEEK, Betheny Frankel shared how her career would have been different if a certain romantic scenario played out.

She began by suggesting that her career ambitions would take a back seat if she finds a "billionaire on some big boat."

"I would definitely retire - like, if I end up with some billionaire on some big boat," the 54-year-old former Real Housewives of New York City star added.

While joking about a potential life of leisure, Bethenny, who considers herself an "accidental influencer," added that her entrepreneurial achievements are not solely based on chance.

"I see a lot of entrepreneurs and business owners that can’t help but want to promote themselves,” she added and pointed out, “But not everybody can do it, and you have to really know if you can. It has to land."

highlighting her secret to building a personal brand, Bethenny explained, "Be honest, be authentic - this is what I’m doing."
