Reese Witherspoon refuses ex Ryan Phillipe's plea to mediate: Source

Reese Witherspoon’s former husband Ryan Phillipe has reportedly reached out to her.

According to the latest findings of RadarOnline.com, Ryan has unresolved issues with his daughter Ava, his eldest daughter with ex-wife Reese. 

Explaining why the father-daughter bond remains strained, a source told the outlet, "Ava shut him out after he settled the claims out of court.”

"She started to see him differently – he wasn't this kind of hero who worshipped her anymore," the spy confided referring to Ryan’s 2019 assault accusation.

Now, the father of Ava is reportedly seeking Reese’s help to convince Ava to give him a second chance.

However, the source close to the Morning Show star stated that "she simply can't."

"As much as she'd love for her daughter to have a supportive and functional relationship with her dad, it's not up to her to play mediator all the time,” the insider also added.

"They're both adults now, and she's not about to put any more pressure on Ava than there already is," the source maintained in conclusion about Ava’s stance on the matter.
