King Charles has stepped out with his younger brother Prince Edward following a rare joint appearance with Prince William.
The monarch and Prince Edward enjoyed during the outing as they made a rare public appearance at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Saturday.
King Charles looked relaxed and cheerful as he arrived to watch part of the annual event.
The king, wearing dark sunglasses, smiled and waved to well-wishers.
Earlier, the palace shared photos of King Charles and Prince William to update the fans about their joint appearance.
The palace said, “The Prince of Wales was installed as Great Master of the order and five new Knights Grand Cross took their oaths during the event at Westminster Abbey.”
It added, “celebrating the 300th anniversary of Order of the Bath. For three centuries, the order has recognised exceptional military and civil achievements across the UK and the Commonwealth.”
The order was established by George I in 1725, though its origins go back to medieval times when part of the ceremony of knighthood included a ritual bath symbolic of spiritual purification.
Following his accession in September 2022, the King became Sovereign of the Order, and The Prince of Wales – as heir apparent – Great Master.
The service was King Charles first as Sovereign.
