In the eyes of many Meghan Markle and Prince Harry paid a mighty sum for their unpredictable marriage.
Royal biographer Tom Bower recently touched on the real cost the Sussexes paid for their Californian life.
According to the Daily Record he believes, “In the beginning, Harry found it fantastic and Meghan clearly loved it.”
However, later on it became “an unpredictable, tumultuous rollercoaster, which is not what they expected.”
In Mr Bower’s eyes what this has done is that its caused Prince Harry to become “a very lonely prince” with no “relationships with his family” left.
But that didn’t stop him from hailing the duo for the one thing, and that is how “they conceal the turmoil that they go through, such as with the court case on security in London. Harry is troubled, but Meghan can't help with that in any way.” Plus “she doesn't want to be involved in Harry's battle with his family.”
“She's focused on their life in California with the children and building her brand. Everything that's happened since their wedding has put a huge strain on them – but Meghan's a consummate performer and knows how to ignore criticism and present herself looking immaculate and smiling,” he added too before signing off.
