Queen Elizabeth's views on Prince Harry revealed

It’s no secret that the late Queen Elizabeth had an 'uneasy' relationship with the Sussexes. But how things got to this point is a question a royal expert answered.

Biographer Ingrid Seward said this rift happened during the couple’s 2018 wedding.

She alleged that the late Queen was upset by the royal prince’s “high-handed attitude.”

According to the Daily Mail, cracks within their relationship started to appear after the wedding.

Recalling one of such incidents was Harry’s outburst at the queen’s dresser, Angela Kelly, for not being able to meet the last-minute demand of setting up Meghan Markle’s wedding day tiara.

At the time, the late queen stepped in to calm the situation, but she did not appreciate the now-father-of-two's behaviour.

Also, the Suits actress's decision to wear a white dress at her wedding with Harry did not sit well with the royal family, given that she is a divorcee.

In other news, another royal expert, Tom Bower, told The Mirror that the royal couple may face setbacks in the future in the US.

"If history is to be an indicator of their future together, the royal couple may face more bumps in the road – but they will do so united, for better or for worse," he said.

He continued, “I’d be hugely surprised if she didn’t stay loyal to Harry – it would be completely contrary to everything we’ve seen of her.

“It’s impossible to predict exactly what the future holds. Other than Harry writing another book or Meghan writing about her experiences, they need to find their purpose," the expert added.

"The real problem for them is what does Harry do?”, Tom concluded, before adding, “He’s 40, hasn’t an official role and he has lots of enemies. Not being close to his family leaves a hole – his focus must be on filling that in California, with Meghan.”
