Whitney Houston’s estate has announced The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration.
In collaboration with Primary Wave Music, The Estate of Whitney E. Houston will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the late Houston's career in music by launching a tour in North America this fall.
According to the press release, The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration North America tour in fall will include "the original master and remastered recordings of Whitney’s vocals set to new arrangements in a unique and one-of- a-kind reinterpretation of her classic hits and landmark songs."
It will also feature “never-before-seen video footage and interviews, along with some of her historic performances."
The Grammy-winning singer and actress’ fans can expect to hear her classics, such as I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me), I Will Always Love You, Higher Love.
Notably, the tour that will be starting from Cincinnati will have shows in Wilmington, Thousand Oaks and Palm Desert ahead of its final show in Mesa, Arizona.
Pat Houston, executor of The Estate of Whitney E. Houston and President of The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, said, "We are excited about 'The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration’ tour and Whitney’s 40th Anniversary.”
"There’s so much excitement happening around this tour, even the discussions and plans to take the tour internationally, where there’s a great amount of interest, which is where Whitney did a majority of her concert tours throughout her career. ‘The Voice of Whitney’ is a unique concert experience and she narrates the entire concert,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention that The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration’s additional dates for 2025 and 2026 will be announced.
