Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard surprisingly reveals his dating status

An actor, film director and musician, Finn Wolfhard, has just now opened up about his current relationship status.

While chatting with Cosmopolitan, the Stranger Things actor candidly discussed the challenges of dating as a famous person.

“As a person that people know about, I don’t think it’s a very wise decision to go out and start randomly meeting people, because you don’t know if they have a preconceived idea of you,” he began by saying.

“And not in a paranoid way, but you do meet people that don’t want to be around you because they want to be around your personality. They want to be around you because of who you are outwardly,” Wolfhard noted.

Sharing that he feels being in a relationship is risky, the Hollywood actor told the outlet, “(It) doesn’t make me feel very good about myself. For me, it’s always about meeting someone who I just like talking to. It’s hard to meet someone like that.”

“I’ve never been a guy who has flings with people. I like having a relationship with someone and I want to be able to like them and have a conversation with them and talk to them,” he continued.

Referring to his busy schedule, the 22-year-old actor concluded, “I am comfortable waiting for someone who is cool, nice, simple, and stable. But in my life now, with how busy I am, I’m chasing stability, basically.”

For those unversed, Finn Wolfhard sparked rumours of dating the Doll & Em actress, Elsie Richter, after he posted a blurry close-up picture of them on his Instagram account in June 2021.
