Meghan Markle admits motherhood is very different from what she had imagined.

The Duchess of Sussex, in the latest episode of Confessions of a Female Founder talks about her lifelong desire to be a mother.

Speaking with Kitsch founder Cassandra Thurswell, Meghan revealed yhay she soon realised she would need house help to support navigation through the journey.

The Duchess said: "I will say, for myself - especially when they are baby babies and before I was mum, I've always wanted to be a mum.

"I was like, 'Oh gosh I'm going to give a speech with a baby on my hip' - I had a whole vision - you fast forward, granted I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and both babies.

"But it was not the way I envisioned it."

This comes as Meghan shared no embarrassment in getting her hands ‘dirty’ when it comes to work.

She told Heather Hasson, the founder of FIGS, in the previous episode of her podcast: “It can get messy and the best founders are not afraid to get their hands dirty.”

"And I don't mean play dirty. I mean, when it's 'clean up on aisle five' time, you are the first person there with a mop."
