King Charles and David Beckham’s amicable interaction at a recent public event is winning hearts.
His Majesty and the 50-year-old former footballer met at the Chelsea Flower Show this week and spoke briefly about the latter’s recent birthday celebrations.
David attended the event sans wife Victoria Beckham and gave the Royals an update on her work.
He said: "She's doing very well. I had a busy weekend this weekend, so it was a lot of fun, a lot of fun."
The conversation continued as Charles asked David about his birthday gift.
"You got it, didn't you?" And Beckham replied: "It was incredible, thank you, it was very kind." Later
Queen Camilla then chimed in: "Nice to see you again, glad you got the roses."
This comes as David’s estranged son, Brooklyn, was recently invited for dinner by King Charles’ estranged son, Prince Harry in the US.
A source familiar with the event said: “Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both.
“Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar,” they added.
