Tom Cruise reacts to viral clip of himself eating popcorn

Tom Cruise has finally reacted to a viral clip of himself eating popcorn.

Recently, the 62-year-old actor set the internet ablaze after he was filmed eating popcorn in a peculiar manner at a special screening for his new movie, Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning, at the BFI IMAX in London on May 11.

In the clip posted by someone on X, Tom can be seen frantically throwing popcorn into his mouth.

After the video went viral, many social media users were startled by Tom’s unusual way of eating popcorn. 

“This is how my dad eats popcorn,” commented one.

“Tom Cruise eating popcorn like he an uncle with a handful of peanuts,” wrote another one.

Later, the Top Gun actor appeared on The Pat McAfee Show with Darius Butler and addressed the viral video.

“I’ve never seen anyone eat popcorn this like,” Darius told Tom. “Are you actually eating popcorn or are you full of s--- right here, TC? I’ve got to know.”

The actor replied, “Man, I’m eating popcorn. They know when I’m going to these movies that I’m watching, I’m eating popcorn.”
