Jessica Biel is fuelling rumours of her failing marriage with husband Justin Timberlake.
While having a conversation with Radar Online, the 43-year-old American actress talked about her character Chloe in an upcoming American thriller television limited series, The Better Sister, and how she personally feels connected to her character, as she finds herself embroiled in a big controversy and demands privacy during that time.
Biel said, "I can understand sometimes feeling like you have to put on a happy face, or you know, smile and kind of grin and bear it. I've definitely done that in my past before.”
She added, "I understand wanting to hide some of my personal life or you know, just keep something sacred."
The Total Recall star went on to admit that her character in The Better Sister dealt with the scandal in a "very dysfunctional" way and wished to deal with her character "a little bit more functionally.”
Hinting at her failing marriage, Biel explained, "You're finding something that is in your life that is parallel to something that you understand or a touchpoint that you can connect to that your character is going through. Sometimes it's abstract, sometimes it's very linear.”
For the unversed, Timberlake and the Candy star, who tied the knot in 2012 and share two children, sons Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, are having a "trial separation,” an insider told the same outlet.
It is pertinent to mention that The Better Sister will be released with all eight episodes on May 29, 2025, on Amazon Prime.
