Kanye West is known for shocking controversies. But for the last few years, he made multiple antisemitic remarks.

But in a new post on X, Ye said he has changed. “I am done with antisemitism,” adding, “I love all people. God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused. I forgive those who have caused me pain. Thank you God.”

Kanye West promises to be a better person?

His tweet comes as he shared in a follow-up post that he had a FaceTime with his children after having an alleged dispute over their custody with his ex-wife Kim Kardashain.

“I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again,” he penned. “Share peace. Share love.”

It’s relevant to mention here Kanye has not, for the first time, apologized for his antisemitism.

Keeping that in mind, the Anti-Defamation League, an antisemitism watchdog, said, “Sorry, but we’re not buying it. We’ve seen this kind of attempted apology from Kanye before, only for him to back down over and over again,” the spokesperson told Billboard.

“As the Jewish community mourns the deaths of two individuals outside of a Jewish Museum in yet another horrific antisemitic attack, it’s going to take a lot more than a couple of tweets to repair the damage of his antisemitic speech," the official added.

In 2022, Kanye sparked a strong reaction, leading many brands to cut ties with him after he wore a shirt Paris Fashion Week that said, “White Lives Matter” at his Paris Fashion Week show and posted on social media, “Death con 3 on Jewish people."
